OUR NATURAL RESOURCES CONSERVATION SERVICE PARTNER

The USDA Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) provides leadership in a partnership effort to help people conserve, maintain, and improve our natural resources environment.  The Lawrence County SWCD has a District Conservationist, Ruth Hackman is the Acting District Conservationist assigned to our county.  ruth.hackman@in.usda.gov Ruth can assist landowners in obtaining federal funding for conservation practices on their land.  To learn more about NRCS, click on the following link: www.in.nrcs.usda.gov
